Laura, his wife of over 25 years, shares her own upbringing in San Diego, her time at Westmont College as a star on the volleyball team, and her career as an Occupational Therapist and later as a Professor in the School of Business and Professional Studies at UMass Global.

The couple's paths intertwined during their high school years, and although they remained close friends throughout college, destiny eventually brought them together. After Keith's graduation from the US Naval Academy and Laura's time as a White House intern, they decided to embark on their journey together.

The interview takes us through their incredible 10-year journey in the active duty Navy, filled with challenges, growth, and the joy of raising two daughters, Hali and Emma. Keith's transition out of the military presented its own difficulties, leading to the couple's decision to run a podcast focusing on veteran transition, which touched the lives of many veterans and their families.

Laura's academic achievements shine as she discusses earning her Ph.D. in Organizational Systems and Human Development and her dedication to coaching volleyball at the high school and college levels.

The couple's shared passion for service is evident as they volunteer their time with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, giving back to their community. Now residing in Santa Barbara, Laura continues her work as an assistant coach with the Westmont College women's volleyball team and an Associate Dean at UMass Global, while Keith serves with the Orange County Fire Authority.

Their commitment to the well-being of veterans led them to found the non-profit organization Home Bound Veteran, focused on sharing inspiring stories of transitioning veterans and their families.
